Digital Payments: RBI i.e. Reserve Bank of India made a big announcement on Wednesday (January 31). Under this, the Reserve Bank took action against Paytm Payment Bank and banned all its services, which will be effective from February 29. In such a situation, Paytm bank account holders are sure to face problems. Apart from this, users will not be able to use Paytm Wallet, NCMC Cards and Fastag etc. If we talk about its wallet users, their number is in crores. In such a situation, the question arises that what option will these users have now? In what ways will they be able to make digital payments?
What is the order?
RBI issued a press release on January 31, in which it has been announced that all the services of Paytm Payment Bank will be closed from February 29. Its wallet users have suffered the biggest blow due to this. Actually, if we look at the figures, during 2018, around three crore people were paying through Paytm wallet and till now it has increased significantly. In such a situation, many people will have to turn to other options for digital payment.
Users can use these options
Let us tell you that even though Paytm wallet is going to be banned for digital payments during daily work, users will be able to make digital payments through other means very easily. If we talk about wallet, users have the facility of wallets like PhonePe, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, through which they will be able to make payments comfortably.
You can also make payment through bank’s app
If users do not want to use any other payment app instead of Paytm, then they can also make payment through their bank account app. In fact, many banks including HDFC, ICICI, IDFC, Yes Bank also provide scanner option in their app, through which users can make payment by scanning any QR code.
